HCP Affiliated Ophthalmologist Dr. Paul Jorizzo recently visited Arbaminch Hospital in Ethiopia to participate in an outreach clinic and train local doctors. Over the course of five days, more than 360 cataract surgeries were performed, including 10 pediatric cases.

Dr. Jorizzo was joined by Dr. Dawit Gidey, a new ophthalmologist at Arbaminch, and former HCP Fellow Dr. Yewubnesh Hailu Somega.
