In an article called “Ace Kvale: Photographing the Himalayan Cataract Project” that was recently published in Pictureline, photographer Ace Kvale is interviewed about the six times he has traveled with HCP eye doctors to remote eye camps in places such as Sikkim, Nepal, Ethiopia, Rwanda and South Sudan. Kvale explains that he lends a helping hand at these events, and this affords him exceptional opportunities to get intimate images of patients as they regain their vision.
