HCP Affiliated Ophthalmologist returns to KATH in Ghana

Dr. Bujak

In June, HCP Affiliated Ophthalmologist Dr. Matthew Bujak had a successful visit to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, Ghana, working with former HCP Fellow and partner Dr. Seth Lartey. Together they performed more than 20 corneal transplants at the eye clinic in Kumasi and over 60 cataract surgeries in remote Kete Krachi.

Last year, the Toronto Star created a narrated slideshow about Dr. Bujak's participation in an eye care intervention in Kenya. You can view it here.
