Tilganga Eye Centre Expansion Reaches Major Milestone

The second quarter of 2008 was filled with optimism and hope – a new government is taking shape in Nepal and we experienced the satisfaction of witnessing final finishing touches on the construction and imminent handover of the building by our contractors. Optimism also grew substantially with the commodity procurement process (the equipment required to outfit the hospital) with news of USAID-ASHA’s intention to negotiate a significant grant in support of FY’08 commodity needs.
