Nepal

The Himalayan Cataract Project’s programs in Nepal (See About) are based at the Tilganga Eye Centre in Kathmandu (See Tilganga Eye Centre). In 2003, 9,155 major ophthalmic surgeries were performed at Tilganga and outpatient care was provided to over 130,000 patients. In addition, the outreach program examined over 35,000 people.
