Dr. Zvi Kresch, Clinical Instructor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery, Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan.

Dr. Zvi Kresch graduated from the University of Michigan and completed his medical school education at Wayne State University. Following his medical internship at Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, MI, Dr. Kresch completed his ophthalmology resident at West Virginia University and a subspecialty fellowship in Uveitis and Inter-Ocular Disease at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

In July 2013, Dr. Kresch joined the Himalayan Cataract Project as an international fellow spending time in Nepal, India, Ghana, and Ethiopia both learning manual small incision cataract surgery (SICS) and providing lectures and clinical training on uveitis. In Ethiopia, Dr. Kresch participated in 4 high volume cataract campaigns and worked with all three residency programs.

Dr. Kresch currently is a clinical instructor at the Kellog Eye Center at the University of Michigan, where he provides resident training and specializes in advanced cataract surgery using SICS techniques, and is involved continuing HCP surgical efforts abroad.
