Matthew Bujak MD, PT, FRCS(C)
Lecturer and Director of International Ophthalmology, University of Toronto. St. Michael's Hospital, Kensington Eye Institute, Herzig Eye Institute.

Dr. Matthew Bujak is a Toronto-based ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, external ocular disease and refractive surgery. Bujak traveled worldwide as part of an international fellowship supported by HCP in 2010-2011.

Bujak completed his ophthalmology training at University of Toronto after which he opted to pursue two consecutive fellowships in Cornea, external ocular disease and refractive surgery at renowned centers in the United States. His first fellowship was a comprehensive cornea fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute/ University of Southern California. His second fellowship was based out of the Moran Eye Center in Utah where he focused on complex anterior segment cataract surgery as well as provision of eye care and corneal transplantation to the developing world.

Bujak is currently a lecturer at the University of Toronto and operates both at St. Michael’s Hospital and Kensington Eye Institute. As co-director of International Ophthalmology he plans to further expand University of Toronto’s role in the developing world.

Bujak received a University wide Humanitarian award for his dedication to patient care.
