Dr. Geoff Tabin is not only an accomplished ophthalmologist and mountain climber, he is also an inventor.

You may know that Himalayan Cataract Project co-founder Dr. Geoff Tabin is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and Director of International Ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center and the University of Utah.

You may also know that he is an accomplished mountain climber. Tabin is the fourth person ever to conquer all seven summits.

But, did you know that at 21 years of age, he and his friends from the Oxford Dangerous Sports Club actually invented bungee jumping? Yes, it's true.

After bungee jumping from the Clifton Suspension Bridge in England and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Club took a televised leap from the Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge in Colorado for the popular American television show, That’s Incredible!
