Seeking our next CEO

news | Mar 14, 2022

The Himalayan Cataract Project (HCP) envisions a world in which no person is needlessly blind. For over 25 years, we have partnered with local eye health providers to help them build and maintain high-quality eye care in their communities.

Through training, equipment and infrastructure support, we cultivate the growth of local, sustainable eye care systems. We focus on areas where the burden of blindness is extremely high, working in over 20 countries throughout South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Thanks to our exceptional people, unique model, and proven track record of transforming people’s lives, HCP is positioned to enter a period of significant growth and impact.

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic CEO to lead us through this next phase of our development and support the organization to thrive in a changing global health landscape.

The successful candidate will bring a considerable track record of leading growth as well as the ability to inspire, motivate and empower staff. They will bring proven skills and experience working in an international setting to craft and champion a compelling vision that furthers the reputation and impact of the organization.

HCP is partnering with the executive search firm Perrett Laver on this search. You can learn more about the position and apply here.

The deadline for applications is 9am EST on Friday, April 1.
