Abreham Haddis is the Senior Biomedical Engineer in Ethiopia. As an engineer, Abreham maintains, installs, and decommissions ophthalmic equipment and instruments. He is also involved in planning, purchasing and advocacy services for HCP-supported partners.
Abreham’s prior experience focused on biomedical/medical equipment design, innovation, installation, and maintenance. He was responsible for equipment construction within the facilities, pre-design and equipment compatibility along with transportation logistics. Abraham is also versed in inventory management, consultation and organizing both small- and large-scale outreaches.
Abreham worked at Jimma University Hospital before he acquired both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering at the university.
