Angelia Rorison serves as Communications Manager for the Himalayan Cataract Project and is responsible for marketing, communications and social media. She works closely with HCP's development, operations and programming departments to maintain HCP’s brand and messaging.
A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Rorison got her start in the communications field as a Public Affairs Specialist while serving in the military. After separating from the USCG, she worked as a freelance photojournalist and then communications/marketing professional for nonprofit organizations. She earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Vermont in 2017 and undergraduate degrees from Georgia State University and UVM.
Rorison works out of HCP’s operations office in Norwich, VT and lives in the Upper Valley region of the Connecticut River with her husband and their black pug, Shadow.
